The cellar of the Matka gourmet restaurant is dedicated to premium wines from all over the world, focusing on local vineyards with the Valpolicella red wines and the Lugana DOC white wines.
There is a wide selection of red and white wines from all over Italy, as well as France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Israel, Chile and the United States.
From the whites of Fruili and the Trentino Alto Adige to the delicious whites from Southern Italy. Then there are the highly prized reds such as Gualdo al Tasso, the Brunello di Montalcino, Solaia, Tignanello and the famous Piedmont wines such as Nebbioli, Barbareschi and Baroli to name just a few. There is also a premium selection of the best wines from other regions, all perfect accompaniments to our meat and fish culinary creations.
The quest for quality, appealing to all tastes and the desire to offer the best to our clients, enriches the selection with various champagnes and sparkling wines produced with the classic method.
Catch of the day and raw fish at Matka
In the splendid setting of Lake Garda, the new Matka gourmet restaurant stands out for the quality of the products offered, with particular attention paid to their origin. The fish dishes that you can try at Matka are the result of the careful selection of the highest quality seafood, personally chosen by our chef Dario Stragapede.
The raw material is sourced daily almost exclusively from the Mediterranean basin and particularly from seafood markets in Milan and Chioggia. Our menu is completed by luxurious products such as gooseneck barnacles or Tsarskaya, Gillardeau, Kys Seven and Tarbouriech oysters (depending on daily availability).

The new gourmet restaurant Matka, in the Gardaland Hotel, welcomes you to its beautiful outdoor area where you can spend a delightful and relaxing evening enjoying a welcome aperitif and finger food served to your table.
A short distance away from Lake Garda, this is a unique and sophisticated outdoor setting, where you can select from a wide range of Italian and international sparkling and still wines, served with Prosciutto crudo from Parma, or with oysters, cooked in a variety of ways, prepared with expertise by our chef Dario Stragapede.
For those wishing to stay for dinner in our gourmet restaurant, the kitchen is open until 10 p.m.
